I am working with the new Quickbooks 2011 and have imported the pricing from the screen printing expansion pack. As I have been looking through the items list, it looks like there is no difference in products listed, such as size. Is this an issue that I am not figuring out fully or is there something that may be a little quarky since I am dealing with a MAC?
The products are lumped into size segments the way shirt distributors price group them, S-XL in White S-XL in Natural S-XL in Color 2XL-3XL and so on.
We have not built all of the item numbers in to be color specific, you can do this however by simply duplicating the item number and adding a color and specific size to the end. The reason this was not put in the system is that this would insert thousands and thousands of part numbers and would confuse the average user
Thanks so much for that help. That was an “Oh Duh!!!” moment. I see how it is done now, and I will just add two more colums on my invoices, one for color, and the other for size.
