Thanks for this info on coroplast signs. We have been doing it and had some issues that you addressed here. Will try your tips the next time we do signs. Thanks.

Very informative post. I came upon your blog while looking for something completely different. Now to return to what I was doing earlier! There’s too much information on the internet these days I guess.

Hey guys, this article is great. We do mostly vehicle wraps and digitally printed signs however we can’t compete with silkscreened coroplast costs.
Could you guys give me a ring at 1-888-Graphics next week? I want to see if you guys can ship me a ready made 18×24 coroplast screen printer just for that purpose and cost.
    Thanks in advance

I just applied vinyl to about 35 yard signs that ended up taking me 3.5 hours. I am going to screen print them for now on and will need to come down and purchase the supplies to start printing from here on out. Thanks for the info.

Screen printed signs are not just for customers either remember… We did about 100 of them in one run (took less than an hour because you have to KEEP steadily printing or the ink will dry) Cost us 100 bucks for the signs, 60 bucks for the step stakes to put them in the ground, and about 10 bucks total for the ink. We put 10 out at a time and each run of 10 signs makes us about 2k in sales from brand new customers just interested in the sign. Our signs say “$5 t-shirts” “Screen Printing” “No setup fees” and the phone number. They generate interest in more than the setup they suggest, and we do great business off of them.

I am interested in printing Coreplast & Metal Real Estate signs using two colors in 18×24 and 24×24. What type of equipment and ink would I use? Also, what is the process for drying the signs. I am familiar with screen printing on T-Shirts since this was as business I had in my past life. Advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I went to your blog to see the answer to the question about the equipment and ink that should be used for coroplast signs. I got really confused because there are so many packages. Can you direct me to the appropriate package for a start-up? I would like to just do coroplast signs in color. Thanks!

Hi there Jameelah. You ought to speak with our resident expert TJ Stepper. She can help you choose the right package based on your needs (size, # of colors, capacity, budget etc). Give her a call on Monday!
